Hiking Mt. Coropuna

In Chuquibamba, Peru our home for children hiked the tallest and largest volcano in Peru:  Nevado Coropuna, sitting at 6377 m/20922 ft. The base of the volcano is only about a half-hour drive from the home in Chuquibamba. To hike to the top from the base camp takes 2-3 days, but the views and short hikes around the volcano kept everyone enthused. Icon Workshops for a Culture of Art

In Ukraine, the houses of studies held a workshop on icon painting.  The study of art elevates the culture and produces fruit in the different projects that our sisters will undertake. 15th Anniversary of the Home for Children in Bethlehem

June 24th, 2020 Bethlehem, Palestine This magnificent work of mercy so dear to us, that today gives a home to 35 children with disabilities, celebrates its 15th anniversary today. To all those who, by their daily dedication, teach us that “love is caring for the other and to be occupied with the other”[2], we give our most sincere thanks and congratulations because “this is how history is directed, even silently and secretly”[3].

Lausanne, Switzerland February 2, 2021 We have just opened a University Residence for young women. Through the residence we offer human, spiritual, moral and intellectual support  for these young women who have come to Lausanne to begin or continue their education. The young women are coming from France, Switzerland and other countries. They said they have chosen this residence for its familial environment and the joy that is shared here.
